Liep\u0101ja received two significant awards:
\n1. Silver Award in the category \u201cMost Business-Friendly State City 2026\u201d.
\n2. LCCI Kurzeme Regional Council’s Recognition Award 2026.<\/p>\n
The assessment and research conducted by the LCCI in cooperation with the research centre SKDS, Lursoft and Junior Achievement Latvia highlight the efforts of local governments in developing a favourable business environment, providing infrastructure and fostering constructive dialogue with local and international businesses.
\nThe awards recognise Liep\u0101ja’s continued efforts to strengthen the city’s economic potential, attract investment and create a supportive environment for start-ups, growing businesses and leading industrial companies in the region.<\/p>\n

\nEach year, the LCCI evaluates Latvian municipalities based on their performance in supporting business development, taking into account quantitative data, business surveys and assessments by regional experts.<\/p>\n
